After my wiring failed
on my marquee, I went to home depot and bought a marquee for $5. I opened
the maquee, cleaned out the spider nest,and installed the new marquee. It
works perfect and was a softer light. Time to paint.First we need to secure the color fastness.So I sanded the sides down so there is no KANGAROO sticker edges showing.Painted the sides with BEAR PRIMER SEALER and then painted it satin black. Flat looked to old and gloss was to distracting,so satin was the choice. And for the graphics? Well the #1 game is allmost out,and my job got tons of posters.So Quake III Arena it is.Putting a coat of damp paint on the side,I placed the poster on it let dry "note it will bubble but they will go away"after 48 hours of drying I sprayed nonyellowing clearcoat over it. |
